Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJIA) is the world’s busiest airport by passenger and flight traffic. As part of their expansion strategy, they're actively exploring ways to decrease tobacco smoking on its premises. This is in an effort to curb second-hand smoking complaints. Our team was hired to drive the client’s research exploration* - stakeholders were addressed and design recommendations were handed off. Our work yielded insights that helped the airport executive team understand the challenge more and also our work led them to re-voice their purpose from eliminating smoking in the area to actively make smokers aware of second-hand smoke issues.
