Universally Smart
This student-based project was conducted with user personas, market analysis and minimum viable products/prototype learnings in mind. As part of an entrepreneurship class, the focus of this task was to find a pain point in any industry and conduct user research to understand more about the market and create a depiction of a minimum viable product, as a deliverable.

Phase 1
Created the team project plan through assigning deadlines and respective roles. Additionally, drafted a team contract outling responsibilities and collaboration strategies.

Phase 2
Narrowed down products within selected industry (home infrastructure) to focus on smart home products and created different components for future analysis. Research includes scope of industry, history of industry, future for industry and key stakeholder considerations.

Phase 3
As the most comprehensize phase of the report, it was critical to address every facet of the industry, its components and its growth through future, integrated smart home products. Sections include (1) introduction of smart homes, (2) market segmentation, (3) customer segmentation, (4) motivation for product adoption, (5) value propositions and risks, (6) data, (7) pains and problems, (8) customer interviews, (9) customer personas, (10) analysis and statistics and (11) target market implications.





Phase 4
Created user persona(s) for the smart home product industry through translating quantitative information back into qualitative insights.

Phase 5
Designed and created the minimum viable product based off previous phase insights.
